Wisconsin Job Outlook

The state’s public institutions are all contained within the University of Wisconsin System, one of the country’s largest higher education systems. The University of Wisconsin System is comprised of two doctoral research universities, eleven comprehensive universities, and thirteen freshman and sophomore colleges. The flagship institution and the largest school in the state is the University of Wisconsin- Madison, located in the state capital.
